Research and Studies

The Institute in 2006, conducted amongst others the follwing:

Completed a study on health delivery in decentralization for the Ghana Health Service / Netherlands Support Research Programme.
Conducted a survey linking research and advocacy institutions to the district assemblies to develop a programme to be supported under the Ghana Research and Advocacy Programme (GRAP).
Finalised a study on the district assembly environment and delivery of girl child education through District Girl Child Education Officers
Undertook studies in models of citizens’ participation and decentralization approaches.
Generated a series of study briefs summarizing individual research efforts of faculty members of ILGS.
